Latest Updates from Our Project:
The Council Card, and about the combo nature of the game

Dear Noburians,
We hope you are all well!
We haven't begun production yet, as all of our localization partners (that will bring Etherstone in retail) are currently reviewing, or will soon give a final review, on all translated content. This additional step ensures that professional teams have one last opportunity to check the localization before we proceed with printing.
In this update, we'd like to share a couple of exciting things with you: a sneak peek at the council card, which is currently in pre-production, as well as more details on just how deep and combo-driven the gameplay can be.
Council Card
How Council cards work?
Council cards contain a scratchable code that, when claimed on the official website, activates a seat within the Etherstone Council. The activation process ensures that each seat is held by a distinct and engaged member of the Etherstone community.
How to redeem?
To avoid having to create a secondary account related to Etherstone, you just need a Thundergryph Club account (which you can create now to start your thunders collection) and you will be able to redeem your code on your Club profile. Each Council code will increase your sit power by 1 point (just like Thunders). The stronger the power of your sit, the more responsability you will have.
When the Council will start?
The Etherstone Council is designed to come to life once all 1000 seats are claimed. This milestone marks the initiation of Stage 2, unlocking the full potential of the community-driven decision-making process. No voting or decision will take place until the 1000 seats are taken.
Council members, each possessing a single vote, actively participate in determining the trajectory of Etherstone’s storyline (for the Etherstone Novel) and the implementation of future gameplay mechanisms. This democratic approach ensures that the collective wisdom of the community guides the evolution of the game.
Before embarking on a decision together we will leave time for you to enjoy and discover the game. It is important that council members are aware of the game lore and mechanism in order to decide what will be next for Etherstone.
If you have any questions about our Etherstone council, please leave a comment on this update!
Combo Game example
In this example, we’re exploring one of the countless possibilities for combo actions, thanks to strategic card drafting and the timing of when to play them.
The player's situation is currently as follows: the cards at the bottom are the ones they have played, while the two at the top are the ones in their hand.
They make an attack to defeat the Wild Judge threat. They need 14 strength.
Their leader gives them 2 strength for each follower in play, bring it to a total of 6. The Grit Devourer grants them 5 by discarding 5 red mana. The Implanted Extirpator gives them 1. Flowing Crave provides 1 for each Exalted in play, for a total of 2. The overall total is now 14.
They defeat the threat, which causes them to lose 5 life points, bringing them down to 2. As a reward, they are allowed to summon a card with a discount of 3. They summon Forbidden Portal by paying only 1 white mana. The instant ability of the summoned card allows them to summon a follower with a discount of 2.
They summon Awaken Oneiros, which immediately grants them +2 life. Having played 7 cards, they end the game.
We can't wait for you to experience the satisfying pace of the game that we love so much! If you have any questions, please feel free to use the comment section.
Thank you for staying updated on the game, and we look forward to chatting with you again soon!
Wishing you all the best, Everyone here at Thundergryph Games

Dear Noburians,
We hope everyone is doing well!
A small reminder if you need to complete your pledges. Please access the pledge manager by following this link to complete it as soon as possible. Thanks!
Small changes to the PPC
In the previous update, we did the Unboxing for Etherstone and the Deluxe edition. We read your comments and suggestions and decided to take some time to work on your requests.
We added finger holes to the three boxes to open the lid more easily.
We changed the color of the fabric stripe inside the Deluxe edition
We also created distinct boxes for each playmat in case you want to store them inside the box and for logistic purposes.
Multilanguage Rulebooks
We are done with the layout of the rulebook in each language, and currently, we are working on proofing all languages. Let us know how you feel about the layout and the overall rulebooks. After this last stage, we should be ready to organize for production.
Trust Me, live on Kickstarter
You’ve trusted us for 12 campaigns, and now it’s our turn to trust you!
We just launched Trust Me, a strategy game of trickery, with a pledge what-you-want model, starting from 1€.
We hope you will be curious to see the campaign page and we hope to see you on board over there!
Thank you so much for your continuous support and talking again soon!
Sincerely yours, Thundergryph Games

Preparing for the final pre-production
The final layout of the rulebook is being finished for translation and the game cards are in their final state. We will be sending files for the final pre-production next week and we will start with translations.
Katia recently went to China to visit Longpack, our new manufacturing partner for this project to understand the process and the timeline, which looks better than we have ever seen before.
In the next update, we will be showcasing the rules and we will be talking about the timeframe for this final pre-production process. A few items like wooden pieces, playmats, metal coins and discs have already been approved.
Foil Cards
In the campaign, you decided which foil cards you will be getting as our Cosmic Gift to you!
While this 2D sample won’t give the same feel of looking at a picture, we hope it gives a sense of how these will look, but the files are ready for print.
We appreciate your collaboration in completing our pledge manager as this will speed up the process of bringing this game to production.
Wishing you all the best, Everyone here at Thundergryph Games
P.S: If you are curious about the Etherstone book, that is also done and you can read a small fragment here.
